Does Wix, WordPress or Shopify mean the end of web design as a job?
Website builders like Wix and Squarespace have been around for a long time, but web designers and web professionals are still high in demand. I personally don’t see these tools as competition, just the next evolution in website building tools we have to choose from.
With something like Wix (as an example), it’s easy enough for business owners to put up a very simple site. However, a web professional brings much, much more to the table than just building a site!
